Astro Haven invented the fiberglass clam shell observatory to open up new avenues
of space exploration to everyone. Amateur astronomers, government research facilities like NASA, JPL, and Sandia Labs, commercial facilities, and University astronomy departments have selected the Astro Haven clam shell design. After years of using fiberglass in the development of General Aviation aircraft, Astro Haven founder, Mr. Grover Brotherston, turned his attention to the design of a cost effective solution for small astronomical observatories. Large domes, elongated domes and new applications like planetariums are all products of Grover's non-stop imagination. |
